Overview

We're looking for a Technical Services Field Coordinator to serve as the essential link between our products, customers, and internal teams. You'll provide hands-on technical support at customer sites, contribute to product innovation through R&D initiatives, and help manage our raw material operations to keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Customer Support & Technical Assistance

  • Partner with customers—from prospects to long-standing accounts—to ensure seamless product integration into their operations.
  • Travel to customer facilities to provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting issues in real-time.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns, maintaining detailed records to drive continuous improvement.

Raw Material & Production Coordination

  • Oversee frozen primal raw material inventory, coordinating slacking schedules with internal and external partners.
  • Forecast production needs for both primal and portioning operations.
  • Assist with purchase order generation and resolve any raw material inventory challenges.
  • Support production planning and scheduling as needed.

Product Development & Quality

  • Participate in product testing initiatives, including regular production assessments, R&D projects, and pilot programs.
  • Work closely with management, customers, and suppliers to identify opportunities and deliver technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships that advance company goals.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in food processing.
Education: Technical degree in microbiology, chemistry, meat science, food science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
