Assist with engineering and/or construction projects, which include layout and design, specification development and preparation, and data collection. The Systems Tech I position applies knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. The Systems Tech I is responsible for proper installation, service, and replacement of all electronic equipment, circuit modules, programmable logic controllers, and several other types of electronic equipment. The Systems Tech I maintains and installs communication and power distribution cable and wiring, as required. This position works with maintenance employees in the assembly and disassembly of equipment, as needed. Work on tests and pilot runs for new and improved products and processes as well as fix designs by working with engineers. Participate in Research and Development’s (R&D) involvement in initial production, plant troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects.
The Field Service Technician will assist with all mechanical and electrical functions that pertain to the implementation and support of equipment and process changes for customers and empirical facilities. Travel to customer sites and other empirical facilities is required.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to develop and maintain SCADA/MES systems. Qualified candidates will have the ability to collaborate and understand the needs of the end user and implement SCADA/MES changes to meet those needs. Will provide plant support for SCADA/MES systems and potentially PLC Logic. Position will also participate in test and pilot runs of new and improved product and evaluate the results.
