The Systems Technician position applies knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. The Systems Technician is responsible for proper installation, service, and replacement of all electronic equipment, circuit modules, programmable logic controllers, and several other types of electronic equipment. The Systems Technician maintains and installs communication and power distribution cable and wiring, as required. This position works with maintenance employees in the assembly and disassembly of equipment, as needed. This position will develop and maintain graphical interface systems and control systems. The Systems Graphic Programmer will perform required programming to interface graphics to control systems. Develop and implement graphical interface screens according to company standards. The position will also be involved in Research and Development activities; work on tests and pilot runs of new and improved products; evaluate results.
